Working and Wellness had a brilliant debut at Health and Wellbeing at Work 2023 earlier this month. Our stand was rarely quiet as wellbeing leads, HR managers and Occupational Health nurses flocked to see what we were doing.
It was a fantastic couple of days where Emma and Becky, our Community Engagement Network Leads, did nearly 100 health checks (including bloods) and a further 26 checks (height, weight, BMI and blood pressure) when we ran out of blood tests. We also spoke about other services we offer, including stop smoking, weight management and MHFA training.
We received lots of positive feedback about the way our practitioners engaged with the people they were testing with many saying they thought they would be more likely to take advice from a well-trained healthcare professional rather than a machine which simply provides data.

“The team on the day were extremely informative, helpful and gave a great introduction to the services Working and Wellness provides.
